Overview
The above two-day workshops are part of 10th International Conference on “Advances in Metrology-2019” (AdMet-2019) to be held in New Delhi at CSIR-National Physical Laboratory (NPL) from February 18-22, 2019.
The first two-day pre-AdMet workshop is designed to invite participants from accredited test and calibration laboratories and user industries to make them understand the basic concepts and best practices in measurement of metrological quantities and evaluation of uncertainty related to these parameters for their accurate determination.
The participants would know the present status and challenges to enhance their knowledge.
The focus of the other two workshops is to attract researchers and laboratory personals in the two different areas; one those who are concerned with Coordinate (dimensional) metrology and are involved in precision measurements of length and dimension parameters. And the other, those wish to understand the metrology in chemistry like the recent developments in gas-aerosol metrology, CRMs, traceability, measurement methods, and the role of metrology in gases along with present status of national and international standard.
